Ts. Faiz Latip is PandA’s Strategic Training Partner, and the Founder & CEO of Semarak Training, the Malaysia’s integrated professional training provider to Energy industry. The organisation is a PETRONAS licensed company and HRD Corp registered training provider which presently provides over 180 professional courses in 6 focus areas: Oil & Gas, Energy Transition, Metering & Allocation, Digital Transformation, HSE & Risk Management and Business.
Ts. Faiz acquired technical experience while working with Halliburton as a Completions Tools Trainee Engineer and Baker Hughes as a Wireline Services Filed Engineer in Malaysia. He had completed the intensive 6-month engineering training with Baker Hughes in Dubai, U.A.E in 2015.
Graduated with Bachelor Degree of Petroleum Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), he has also served as the President of Society of Petroleum Engineers UTM Student Chapter and led it to win 2013 Global Top 7 Outstanding Student Chapter and Gold Standard Award.
He is a HRD Corp certified trainer, a registered Professional Technologist (Ts.) with Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT) and a member of Energy Institute (EI), Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and Malaysian Oil & Gas Services Council (MOGSC).
He was elected and currently serving as the Chairperson of Competency & Capability Development Working Group (CCWG) of The Malaysian Oil, Gas & Energy Services Council (MOGSC) for the 2nd term (2021/2022 & 2023/2024).
